The Illinois Budget gets presented by Gov Quinn on Wednesday. Reporters get briefed this evening at 5 pm. What is interesting is that the Senate Democratic Caucus already has its satellite time booked to respond to the Gov's Budget. So it is not the case that the State Democratic Party is likely to just come out in favor of the Governor's proposals.
What is certainly a change from the Blago years, is that Gov Quinn is allowing cameras to videotape the Budget Briefing this evening. That was always off limits in the past.
